Palm Beach is the perfect place to escape the quarantine and isolation routine in a safe and healthy way, and there is no better time to book an “iso getaway” at this paradisiac town than now. Therefore, I would like to share with you my favourite places to stay, dine, and relax whilst in Palm Beach.
Palm Beach is one of the most popular towns of the northern beaches of Sydney. It is about 50 minutes driving from the Sydney CBD and it has been internationally known for the famous TV soap opera, “Home & Away”.
Palm Beach is one of my favourite spots due to the proximity to my home in Sydney and is the place where I “unplug” from the crowds and work routines.
I usually start my Palm Beach getaway driving from Sydney to Palm beach around 11:00am to arrive to our first stop: The Newport hotel, and have lunch. The Newport hotel is a pub owned by Merivale and its designed for all families with wide space to spread around. I usually enjoy a nice hamburger or pizza with a magnificent view. For this pub I recommend wearing a casual outfit. Therefore, I suggest you to wear one of our men linen Shirts with your favourite pair of men boardshorts and sneakers.
After lunch, I usually check in at our accommodation. Palm Beach is full of spectacular beach houses for all family sizes, they are meant to make you feel at your own holiday house. I recommend to contact Josie from https://www.palmbeachholidayrentals.com.au , The Palm Beach Holiday Rentals team will go beyond and above your expectations when looking for an accommodation at Palm Beach.
Once settled at my accommodation in Palm Beach, I would wear my favourite swimmers, kaftan and grab my Beach towel to drive into my favourite beach: Snapperman Beach. It is a small hidden beach close to the main Palm Beach with no waves and full yachts. (If you feel like exploring the northern beaches by yacht, The Palm Beach Holiday Rentals, are experts bookings your luxury day charter).
After relaxing at the beach, I go to my accommodation again to get ready and have an early dinner Alma at Avalon. Alma was founded in 2017 and their food is inspired by the dishes of coastal Mexico.
At night, there is not a better plan than walking on the main Palm Beach and then relaxing at your Palm Beach Holiday accommodation.
On the next morning, my first stop is the Palm Beach natural rockpool to make some swimming laps early in the morning and watch the sunrise.

Right after this, I will feel hungry and I can recommend The Boathouse Café Palm Beach. This café is in front of the beach and serves the most delicious granola, scones and coffee.
During non COVID-19 Pandemic, I would also recommend Jonah’s Boutique Hotel, which serves a la carte set breakfast menu. It is a luxury hotel located at the top of one of Palm Beach’s mountains, with breath taking sea views (if you visit Palm Beach during Australian winter you most probably be able to spot some whales on the ocean); for this restaurant I will recommend wearing a smart casual outfit, so our long sleeve men linen shirts will be excellent for the occasion. Unfortunately, Jonah’s Palm Beach is closed during COVID-19 Pandemic.
Once I finish breakfast, I go to a nice walk uphill to the Barrenjoey Lighthouse, I’ll suggest to wear comfortable shoes and activewear outfit, followed by a nice walk or splash at the Palm Beach main beach.
And last but never least, I always enjoy a tasteful lunch on my last day of my getaway at The Barrenjoey House Restaurant. You will be surprised with their outstanding customer service and delicious menu options. You can’t forget to order the house beaked bread and butter. I suggest you to wear one of our men linen shirts and our one of a kind men boardshorts to get the best smart-casual outfit at this restaurant.

After this amazing getaway to Palm Beach, I always feel revitalized, full of energy and grateful to be able to have such an gem town full of luxury accommodations, food and natural places to visit close to my own house.
