The Iconic Runway Show demonstrated us fashion is inclusive for all ages and body shapes.
The Venue of The Iconic Runway Show:
The Iconic Runway show took place at Barangaroo Reserve, a brand new spot with spectacular water views near the CBD of Sydney and it was open to the public. This area was an important fishing and hunting place for Australian Aboriginal people in the past.
Its name, Barangaroo, was given after the second wife of Bennelong, one of the most recognised interlocutors of the Aboriginal people.

My itinerary:
I arrived around 3:00 pm and had the chance to sit down close to Chelsea Bonner, Executive Director of Bella Management, one of the most recognized agencies in Australia representing curve models. While we were watching the runway, Chelsea and I discussed the importance to include people of all ages and all body types in a runway show.

The show ran for about 30 minutes showcasing the new trends of Swimwear sold at The Iconic of brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Camilla, Tigerlily and Seafolly.
All the brands showed their products worn by models of different ages and body types. The models line up included people such as Jessica Earle, Robyn Lawley, Shareefa J, Martin B Quinn, Zach Miko, and Nadine Bush.

The afterparty:
After the runway, The Iconic spoiled us with an magnificent after party. We were lucky to enjoy the views to the Harbour Bridge, delicious food and cocktails along the live DJ music.
It was there when I was able to meet and greet with people such as model, Sarah Jane Adams, whose style and genuineness is admirable; celebrity stylist, Jamie Azzopardi, an amazing human being with an excellent taste for fashion; Georgina Kar, an stylist behind The Iconic Swimshow 2018 and my teacher at Orana Fashion Business College; and last but not least, model Martin B Quinn, I was in love with his performance at the show and the happiness in his face on stage. He explained to me that it was his first time at a runway after 32 years and he is represented by Silver Fox Management, an agency directed by Brigitte Warne, whose aim is to campaign the #agepositivemovement and show the customers that style is ageless.

My conclusion about The Iconic Runway Show:
At the end of this event I felt fulfilled, thankful and proud to be part of The Iconic family selling our portfolio of Latin American Swimwear brands of Tolu Australia at The Iconic.
The Iconic showed us it is the leader of online shopping for fashion in Australia.
The Iconic defined the future of fashion trends, and that there is no age or body type fashion can’t wear.
